Job Description
Our firm is designing a new hydro-metallurgical process that needs a complete Piping & Instrumentation Diagram ready for construction. The draft must show every line, valve, pump, instrument tag, and control loop required to build, commission, and later maintain the system. I am based in Ontario, Canada. You will start from my hand-sketched flow, equipment datasheets, and a brief narrative of the process sequence. All piping specs, line numbers, and instrument codes have to follow typical ISA/CSA conventions and satisfy local Ontario standards. Key expectations • Produce a clean, layered AutoCAD (DWG) file plus a plotted PDF. • Use standard P&ID symbols for a chemical process and keep annotations clear for field crews. • Include a legend, line list, instrument index, and revision block. • Provide at least one round of mark-ups after my review to capture redlines before final release. If you already work in AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar, let me know, as that will speed up tag management. Turnaround for the first draft is one week from award; final issue for construction the following week. Send a short note confirming your experience with construction-grade P&IDs for chemical plants.
