You&#x27;d own the pipeline that pulls data from hospital systems and transforms it for analytics and research.<p>Where Rust fits: part of our hospital data acquisition layer, the code that talks to hospital systems, is written in Rust. You&#x27;d work on both sides: Rust where performance and correctness matter most, async Python for the rest of the pipeline. Rust experience is a strong plus. Whether you learned it at work or on your own, we want to hear what you built with it.<p>Stack: Rust, async Python (mypy, pytest, ruff, uv), PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Dagster, Terraform&#x2F;OpenTofu, AWS (ECS&#x2F;Fargate, RDS, Lambda, S3), GitHub Actions.<p>You&#x27;ll need 5+ years building backend services or data pipelines in production (retries, idempotency, schema design and migrations, well-tested and typed code) and strong Python and SQL.
