Freelance Graphic & Motion Designer - (all genders)

Location: Kassel <p>We are the marketing team at fino data services. We build software for invoice, document and finance processes and work at a high pace.</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>freelance Graphic &#x26; Motion Designer (all genders)</strong> for an ongoing, project-based collaboration. You will work independently on agreed deliverables and projects and bring your own creative and professional approach to the work.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Motion design:</strong> Create explainer videos, product demos, social formats and other moving-image content from concept and storyboard through to the finished cut.</li> <li><strong>Graphic design:</strong> Develop ad creatives, landing-page visuals, sales documents, presentations and partner materials.</li> <li><strong>Visual concepts:</strong> Translate marketing objectives, product information and campaign ideas into clear, compelling visual concepts.</li> <li><strong>Multilingual assets:</strong> Adapt and prepare content in German and English; from Q4 onwards, selected projects may also include Italian and Spanish content, primarily through subtitles and voice-over.</li> <li><strong>AI-assisted production:</strong> Use AI tools where they add genuine value to creative development, design and production, and contribute ideas for efficient new workflows.</li> <li><strong>Independent project delivery:</strong> Plan and execute agreed assignments independently, coordinate deliverables and communicate proactively about progress, dependencies and deadlines.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Relevant expertise:</strong> Demonstrated professional expertise in graphic design, motion design, visual communication or a comparable field.</li> <li><strong>Portfolio:</strong> A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates the quality and relevance of your graphic design, motion design and visual storytelling work.</li> <li><strong>Motion design:</strong> Demonstrated ability to create explainer videos, product demos, social content or comparable formats from concept through to final production.</li> <li><strong>Graphic design:</strong> Strong skills in layout, typography, composition and visual hierarchy across digital and presentation formats.</li> <li><strong>Relevant training or equivalent expertise:</strong> Relevant education, vocational training, professional training or equivalent practical expertise in graphic, communication, media or design is welcome.</li> <li><strong>What matters most is demonstrable professional capability and the quality of your work.</strong></li> <li><strong>AI-assisted production:</strong> Practical experience using AI tools in creative workflows and the ability to demonstrate how they have improved, accelerated or expanded your creative production.</li> <li><strong>Language skills:</strong> Ability to work confidently with German- and English-language source material.
