This role drives measurable improvements in quality, cost, and delivery, while developing problem-solving capabilities across the organization.</p></div></div><div><div><h2><b>Job Requirements</b></h2> </div><div><p>As a Technical Problem-Solving Expert, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Solve complex and difficult technical problems</li> <li>Lead a cross-functional team to apply diligently a structured problem-solving methodology (Shainin, Six Sigma or equivalent)</li> <li>Define priorities</li> <li>Proactively anticipate roadblocks to find solutions and escalate when needed</li> <li>Ensure rigor and governance of Problem Solving methodologies across the organization</li> <li>Coach and develop Problem Solver Practitioners</li> <li>Select the projects that will have the highest impact across plants or business unit</li> <li>Report out to Senior Management project progress, people development, savings</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><h2><b>What your background should look like</b></h2> </div><div><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Engineering degree (Physical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or related)</li> <li>Shainin Red X Journeyman or Master certification (mandatory)</li> <li>Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred</li> <li>5–10 years’ experience in Technical Problem solving</li> <li>Proven track record solving complex technical issues</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Leadership and cross-functional team management</li> <li>Apply statistical analysis (Minitab, JMP) to validate root causes and/or solutions</li> <li>Understanding of engineering fundamentals</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Willing to develop others</li> <li>Be a positive change agent</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Impact</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ)</li> <li>Improve product quality and customer satisfaction</li> <li>Strengthen the Problem-Solving culture</li> <li>Deliver measurable business impact</li> </ul> <p>#LI-REMOTE #TANADC</p></div></div><div><div><h2><b>Competencies</b></h2> </div><div><div>SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)</div></div></div></div><p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong><br>• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $130,400 – $163,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)<br>• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
