Location: Remote <img src="[Link Protected] /> <p> <strong>Headquarters:</strong> worldwide <br /><strong>URL:</strong> <a href="[Link Protected] </p> <p><br>Senior Remote Team Leader — Accounting, Data & Operations</p> <p> Food Services Inc. — Wholesale meat and restaurant supply distributor based in Los Angeles, California<br>Remote Contractor Position<br>Compensation</p> <p>Starting base compensation: $2,500 USD per month</p> <p>This position includes opportunities for:</p> <p>* Performance bonuses<br>* Responsibility-based increases<br>* Leadership increases<br>* Additional compensation for taking ownership of major business functions</p> <p>A strong performer can grow the base compensation to approximately $3,000 per month within the first year, in addition to applicable performance bonuses.</p> <p>Compensation growth will be based on measurable responsibility, performance, accuracy, leadership, and the ability to independently manage important areas of the business.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are looking for a senior-level Accounting & Operations Team Leader who can take ownership of daily workflows, work independently, review the work of others, and turn business data into clear actions and decisions.</p> <p>This is not a basic data-entry position.</p> <p>We are looking for someone who can operate at a top 10% performance level — someone who can analyze, review, identify problems, follow up, and help improve the way the team works.</p> <p>The right person should be comfortable managing both people and data in a fast-moving business environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>You will be responsible for helping lead and review daily accounting and operational workflows, including:</p> <p>* Reviewing and analyzing large amounts of business and financial data<br>* Identifying errors, discrepancies, trends, and opportunities<br>* Reviewing team members’ work for accuracy and completion<br>* Purchase Order vs. Vendor Bill analysis<br>* Vendor pricing and quantity discrepancy review<br>* Accounts receivable and customer aging<br>* Vendor aging and accounts payable<br>* Inventory analysis and reconciliation<br>* Price updates and vendor price-list comparisons<br>* Creating and improving Excel reports and tracking systems<br>* Following up on unresolved issues until they are completed<br>* Helping organize team priorities and daily workflow<br>* Communicating clearly with management and team members<br>* Using AI and automation to reduce repetitive work and improve accuracy<br>* Developing better processes, controls, and reporting systems</p> <p>We want someone who does more than complete a task.
