Location: Vijayawada, <strong>Job Description – Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer)Position<br><br></strong><strong>Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer – Civil Construction<br><br></strong>Project:<strong> Commercial Hotel Construction Project<br><br></strong><strong>Location:</strong> Vijayawada / Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh<br><br><strong>Site:</strong> Daspalla Project Site<br><br><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ Years<br><br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time, Site-based<br><br><strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer</strong> with a minimum of <strong>5 years of relevant experience in civil/building construction</strong> to join the project team for a commercial hotel construction project in Vijayawada/Amaravati.<br><br>The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in <strong>quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, measurement, subcontractor billing, client billing, material reconciliation and cost control</strong>.<br><br>Candidates with experience in <strong>commercial buildings, hotels, high-rise buildings or large-scale building projects</strong> will be preferred.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs and estimates for civil and finishing works.</li><li>Prepare detailed quantity calculations from architectural, structural and MEP drawings.</li><li>Conduct regular site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records.</li><li>Prepare and verify contractor/subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.</li><li>Review subcontractor RA bills, work orders, measurements and supporting documents.</li><li>Prepare client bills / RA bills and ensure timely submission.</li><li>Carry out rate analysis for various civil, structural and finishing items.</li><li>Monitor project quantities against the BOQ and identify variations.</li><li>Prepare and maintain variation statements, extra items and deviation statements.</li><li>Track project costs and assist in maintaining effective cost control.</li><li>Reconcile quantities of key materials such as cement, steel, concrete and other construction materials.</li><li>Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Team, Purchase Team, Accounts Team and subcontractors.</li><li>Check drawings and specifications to identify quantity/cost implications before execution.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, work orders, quotations and quantity records.</li><li>Assist in preparing project cost forecasts and quantity/progress reports.</li><li>Support commercial negotiations with subcontractors and vendors when required.</li><li>Ensure that all billing and measurement documentation is accurate and submitted within project timelines.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer in civil/building construction.</li><li>Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, measurements and billing.</li><li>Good understanding of civil construction drawings and specifications.</li><li>Experience in subcontractor billing and client billing.</li><li>Strong knowledge of rate analysis and cost estimation.</li><li>Experience handling variation orders, extra items and reconciliation statements.</li><li>Good knowledge of Excel and quantity/billing-related software.</li><li>Ability to independently handle QS activities at a project site.</li><li>Strong analytical and numerical skills.</li><li>Good coordination and communication skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Candidate Profile<br><br></strong>Candidates with experience in the following types of projects will be preferred:<br><br><ul><li>Hotels / Hospitality Projects</li><li>Commercial Buildings</li><li>High-rise Buildings</li><li>Residential &amp; Commercial Complexes</li><li>Large-scale Civil Construction Projects<br><br></li></ul>Skills: boq,buildings,quantity surveyor,qs<br/><br/>Please mention the word **DASHING** and tag RMjA5LjQyLjI4LjExOA== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjA5LjQyLjI4LjExOA==).
