Question 1

How does the HarryDesk zero-commission milestone escrow system maintain payment security for remote software developers?

Accepted Answer

Before any engineering sprint or development milestone begins, the hiring organization funds the agreed budget into HarryDesk's secure secure escrow vaults integrated via Stripe Connect. These funds are locked securely and remain in neutral custody until the client verifies the digital code deliverables or a certified dispute mediator authorizes release.

Question 2

What measures does HarryDesk use to guarantee tax-compliant remote hiring across international borders?

Accepted Answer

HarryDesk automates correct worker tax classifications globally. For United States contracts, we streamline double-validations for domestic independent contractor W-9 and international remote developer W-8BEN form collections. For the UK market, project milestones are optimized Outside-IR35, and we support Letter of Undertaking (LUT) support with Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC) tracking for tax-exempt operations under Indian GST laws.

Question 3

How does HarryDesk resolve freelance payment disputes or project delivery disagreements?

Accepted Answer

If a contract dispute arises between a client and a freelance engineer, either party can activate on-demand, certified digital arbitration. In this process, designated impartial legal mediators review the locked milestone statements, communications, and repository pull requests to issue binding escrow distribution rulings.

Question 4

Can companies synchronize HarryDesk's freelance project ledgers and profiles automatically to Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or Slack?

Accepted Answer

Yes, HarryDesk provides dedicated integration pipelines via Zapier and custom Webhooks that trigger automatically when contracts are established, funded, or settled. This lets you seamlessly synchronize ledger sheets in Google Sheets, invoice balances in QuickBooks, and receive real-time notifications in Slack to eliminate manual accounting reconciliation overhead.

Question 5

How does the HarryDesk affiliate program work?

Accepted Answer

The HarryDesk Affiliate & Partner Program allows remote workers, freelancers, content creators, and agencies to earn passive income by referring employers and freelance talent to harrydesk.com. Affiliates receive a unique tracking link with a 30-day cookie window. When referred users register and upgrade to paid 6-month or 1-year subscription tiers, the affiliate automatically earns a 25% recurring commission for the lifetime of that user's active subscription.

Question 6

How much can I earn referring freelancers and employers to HarryDesk?

Accepted Answer

There are no caps or earning ceilings. Affiliates earn 25% lifetime recurring commissions on every paid subscription billing cycle (6-month and 1-year plans). For example, referring 20 active employers on 6-month plans and 50 freelancers on annual plans generates predictable passive recurring revenue of hundreds to thousands of dollars every billing renewal cycle.

Question 7

Are HarryDesk affiliate commissions one-time or lifetime recurring?

Accepted Answer

All HarryDesk affiliate commissions are 100% lifetime recurring. As long as the referred employer or freelancer maintains an active paid subscription and renews their 6-month or 1-year plan, the referring affiliate earns 25% on every renewal with zero expiration date.

Question 8

Are free trial sign-ups eligible for affiliate commission payouts?

Accepted Answer

All new users receive a 60-day (2-month) free trial upon registration. Free trial sign-ups are tracked under the affiliate's lead ledger but do not generate commissions until the user upgrades to a paid 6-month or 1-year subscription plan, ensuring sustainable, high-ticket recurring payouts.

Question 9

What is the payout threshold and schedule for HarryDesk affiliates?

Accepted Answer

The minimum ledger payout threshold is $100 USD. Commissions are audited and processed on the 1st of every calendar month, and funds are disbursed directly to your verified PayPal account, Wise IBAN, or Direct Bank Wire within 5 business days.
